Culture of Peace and Conflict Management Training for Peace Committee Members in South Omo, Turmi.

As part of the project entitled “Ensuring peaceful coexistence and promoting human rights values among the communities of lower Omo valley through active community participation” (LOVaP); PDC is conducting training on the Culture of Peace and Conflict Management in South Omo. This training targeted different Kebele level peace committee members to enhance their capacity of addressing community conflicts in a peaceful manner. The training is organized by Peace and Development Center in partner with EPaRDA funded by the European Union. In the framework of the project, the trained and formed joint-Kebele peace committee will play a prominent role in their cluster in resolving conflict and building a culture of peace.
